We had to have the relay switch inside the console replaced. They also replaced the turn signal handle. it cost me about $200 in southern california.

I just had this problem. It seems common through what I've read. It's the multifunction switch on the steering column. It's a fairly simple cleaning fix or you can buy a now one at Auto Zone or another car parts place. see instructions here:

Diagnosing an electrical issue is never easy or cheap, sorry. When fuses blow, it is due to an improper flow of electrons. When relays go bad, it is due to overheating(which is often due to an improper flow of electrons). The BCM(Body Control Module) could be to blame... let us know how it works out =D

Flasher cliker always making noise even if flasher

My '02 Alero did the same thing every since I got the car 5 years ago. After 6 visits to the dealership and them telling me it was the hazard light switch which had gotten recalled, I just gave up. 2 years ago, I started dating a mechanic and he figured out what the problem was. The contact in the steering panel that controls the blinker was dirty. He took my car to work and fixed it. It's definitely something you could do at home if you have a little know how, me being a woman, cars aren't my thing so he did it. He used this link below as a step by step on how to do it. Although its for a Grand Am, its essentially the same car. Hope it helps!

The blinker clicking sound won't stop when blinkers are off

Hello, you need to replace the flasher. It is located under the dash on the driver's side near the top of the brake pedal.

Thanks for using FixYa!

Blinker clicking noise keeps clicking even when blinker is not blinking 2004 grand am

Signal switch needs to be cleaned or replaced. Copper particles get dragged into dielectric grease then this causes a bridging of power acting as if the switch is still on.

Beeping Noise/Blinker Noise

sounds like your electronic flasher unit maybe stuck causing the noise. they are generally located under the dash on driver side just below the instrument cluster.
