I have a 1984 Porsche 944, it seems to be having some electrical issues,

The power window on the passenger side is slow, and the switch for the rear windshield wiper seldom responds. my AC will no longer kick on and doesn't even make noise when I turn the dial. it worked before but then stopped suddenly. I replaced the fuse for the AC which is NO.3 I believe and it still did not kick on.

Is the blower inside engaging? If the blower comes on but the a/c compressor doesn't then your low on r-14 but if its visa-versa then it's probably a wiring problem.. hope this helps

SOURCE: 1985 944 porsche speedometer stop working

There is a gear in the speedo that breaks. This is plastic gear on a metal shaft. The last fix I did was to remove speedo and open it up. I super glued the cracked gear to the shaft because I was unable to find a new one. It worked again with no future problems. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: 1985.5 PORSCHE 944 digital clock (changing time)

There are three buttons, let's call them 1, 2, and 3, from left to right.

Clock
Time setting

A. 12 AM, PM or 24.00 h
With the clock in the time readout mode, keep
button (2) depressed for 4 seconds -12 AM, PM
or 24.00 flashing. After pushing button (1), either
a 12-hour (AM + PM) or a 24-hour setting
program can be selected. If you only want to
change the display mode, push button (3). The
clock then returns to its normal timekeeping
function.

B. Hours
Push button (2) a second time - hour display
flashes. Set hour by pushing button (1). After
pushing button (3)*, the clock returns to the time
readout mode with new hour setting.

C. Minutes
Push button (2) once more - minute display
flashes. Set minute by pushing button (1). Upon
pushing button (3)*, the clock is started -
accurate to within 1 second.

Stop watch function
The stop watch can only be set in motion if the
clock is in its normal timekeeping mode and not
during setting operations.
A. Push button (3) - 00:00 display appears;
B. Push button (1) - stop watch is on;
C. Push button (1) a second time - watch stops.
(Additional times can be added by pushing button
(1) again - stop watch keeps running. Push button
(1) once more to stop timing.)
D. Push button (2) - 00:00 display appears;
E. Push button (3) - normal timekeeping mode.

If button (3) is pushed during operation A and

(push button (2)). icon_biggrin.gif

1984 Porsche 944 no turbo automatic. Will not crank over, I have power out of the ignition, but not to the starter.

Hello there
Most likely it is your electric part of the igniton switch.It is not hard to replace.
That is what you should try first.

Electrical intermittant problem porsche 944 1983

Have you checked for good grounds? Sometimes water or wetness will help with conductivity. Grounds are all over the place and are usually corroded, braking the bond. Make sure that all grounds are clean and secure.
