1999 Chevrolet Tahoe will not start. I thought it was the battery, but I replaced it and there is still no power to anything.

this tahoe has power but will not turn over

My '99 Tahoe has the same problem, just intermittant. The lights all work and are bright, but the starter won't turn over. I put the charger on the truck, but doesn't seem to make any difference. After 10 minutes to an hour, it starts up fine.
I was wondering if it was an issue with the security system and the starter lock out?

Similar observation on my 1997 Tahoe with 170k miles and a brand new battery.  Intermittently it will not start or cuts out while driving and looks dead.  No lights or even hazards.  Every time, I find that the post holding the 2 positive cables to the battery is loose.  I tighten it with vise grips and it starts up fine.  ANYONE KNOW HOW TO keep the positive battery post tight???

Whole car has no power? if so, there is some kind of disconnected problem immediate in the battery cables or main fuse panel that is in the engine compartment

Tailgate only open 1/3 way than closes 2008 tahoe

Your liftgate has obstruction sensors, if obstruction is detected in the power mode, the liftgate will reverse. Has a sensor on each side of liftgate. I don't know if replacing sensor/s will fix it, but, that would be my first thought. I hate to see you replace anything and it not fix it.
Your owners manual should give you info on lift gate operation. If you want my diagram for lift gate, holler and I'll post it.

I got a 1999 chevrolet tahoe. when i put the key in the ignition the head lights, and the dash light comes on but it won't even turn. i change the starter and got a new battery and it still won'

well if you have a dvom/voltmeter check the power at the starter terminals. the main terminal should have power all the time the key wire should have power only when the key is turned to crank engine. if you have power at both then i would start looking at grounds

NO power. checked battery and its fully charged.

start tracing voltage to fuse box and ground from battery, then check all fuses , its a short somewhere or a bad connection

1999 Tahoe, dead won't turn over

First, have your battery charged and tested. Once you know that you are working with a good battery, If you can get it started, check the alternator output. With the limited info you supplied, it seems as if the charging system is not working and you just plain ran out of power.

1997 chev tahoe, starter was working fine, Came back to tahoe and tried to start it, starter does not do anything, all ticks and lights on dash sound normal, thought it was starter. put on new starter same...

You need to try and jump start the vehicle and see if it will start. It sounds like your battery is bad to me. The interior lights are not a good indication of battery conditon, because a starter can pull somewhere between 30-50 amps draw from the battery, where the interior lights may draw 2-3 amps.
Also check your battery terminals for condition. Baking soda and water solution will clean off corrosion, followed by a terminal cleaner from an auto parts store. I would start there. Let me know if that helps.
