For an owners manual I would suggest either the dealership, Toyota forums, or Ebay. If you need a repair manual then you could get one from the local parts store.

check you ecu. same problem happen to me in an izuzu rodeo. I let my fuel get to low and it sucked dirt into the filter and messed with that and it set off a code for the ecu and messed it up but if i had just replaced the ecu first i wouldnt have had to change the injectors or anything.
Each head lamp also has it's own relay, you can rule the relay out by swapping the left head light relay with the right head light relay & see if the problem moves to the other side...The relays are also in the same under hood fuse box.
