Sounds like it is going off track whenever it gets to the popping sound point. Or its catching against something, Check to see if anything could be in the tracks of the sunroof. Hope this helps, James Booth. Let me know what happens
The fuel filter is located in the pressure line that runs from the fuel tank to the engine,
near to the fuel tank. Keep the engine off for few hours before replacing the filter, to get rid of some pressure in the lines.
I don't know how much this will help but some common problems with loosing power steering is that your power steering pump is gone.your pump is about a foot below the alternator on the side of the firewall -
hard to get to it under the hood without removing some items, I got some prices for you and a new pump couls cost anyware from $18 to $70. also the belt could have loosened up just enough that your power steering wont work. hope this helped.
