Question about 1990 Ford Econoline
My van will not start. it turns over, but i pulled 2 plugs and it seems to not be getting a spark. it ran just fine, was parked for 3 weeks and this is what happened when i tried to start it. i pulled all the fuses in the brake pedal area, and none were obviously to my eye defective. my email address is email@example.com
SOUNDS LIKE THE IGNITION MODULE HAS GONE OUT BY THE WAY THESE THINGS ARE NOTORIUS FOR FAILING THE FAILURE RATE IS AROUND 75% ANY WAY REPLACE IT AND THEN THE SPARP WILL RETURN.. IN MOST CASES ..HEY ITS A START ASK FOR A THICK FILM MODULE AT ANY LOCAL PARTS STORE IT IS LOCATED ON THE DISTRIBUTER GRAY,, TWO 6MM SCREWS AND A 6OR8 WIRE PLUG ..HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL
