1990 econoline van E150 won't start

My van will not start. it turns over, but i pulled 2 plugs and it seems to not be getting a spark. it ran just fine, was parked for 3 weeks and this is what happened when i tried to start it. i pulled all the fuses in the brake pedal area, and none were obviously to my eye defective. my email address is inkyjr@aol.com

I have a 1989 ford econoline van that will start. The engine will turn over but will not start. Please solve.

Let's start with the simple things - are you getting spark?
To check - you will need a friend to try to start the van - and you will
1- pull an EASY plug wire to get to - doesn't matter much which one.
Try holding the wire about 1/4 inch away from the cap while your friend trys to start the van. Do this in a NON well lit area - shadows will help tell your eye if it is sparking or not. In BRIGHT light you will not always see the spark if you're not trained.
Get back to me with if it sparks or not.

Misfiring

Who told you you didn't have plugs? I wouldn't take your van there again. I will help you find the problem. Trace the plug wires and pull the plugs and inspect them thoroughly. I promise you have plugs. If they look bad replace them. If this doesn't solve it e-mail me at darry3275@aol.com and I will help you until your vehicle is running, and done as cheap as possible, I promise.

Need to change the ignition switch

Remove panel under steering wheel. Put key in cylinder and turn back to accessory position. Looking under lower part of steering column locate a small pin under the key cylinder. While depressing the pin turn the key backwards and pull the entire cylinder with key out of column. Good luck.

Brake and turn signal lights stopped working on my 1996 Ford E150

You might have cut a wire or it could have broken or disconnected. Try tracing the wiring where you hooked up the trailer you may find one broken or disconnected.

Are plugs and wires good? Did you check distributor? Firing order correct-timing set right? Maybe some of the new parts are faulty? Are grounds all secure and are fuses good?
