Question about 2001 Ford F350 Super Duty SuperCab
AC usually works when it is first turned on, but after a period of time will stop producing cold air. And sometimes when the control is set to the regular vent the AC will be on.
You probably have a vacuum leak on the passenger side. its a small plastic hose some times they come unpluged from the engine. or brake.

Sounds like your temperature actuator is not moving or your temp door is broken. On max a-c ,coolant is shut off to your heater core allowing only cold air in.
