I would like to check the air filter on my jetta can you tell me where it is located

I had the same problem. Atleast in my case I had to take off the bottom plastic cover which is right under the front section of the car. (It kinda has the same shape as the hood except flat.) After taking off the plastic cover the filter is in clear view. There is no way of changing the filter unless you do that. Hope that helps! I need help with somethig else regarding fuses, feel free to recipricate :-D!

Where is the air filter located on a 2007 2.5l jetta?

When you remove the engine cover, there are a few screws on the underside that hold the air filter in.

Oil pump dashboard light & buzzer keeps cumming on. car has new oil &filter.

New filter is OK, but, its posssible that the wrong is in the oil level or oil pressure sensor. Excatly I dont know where is located, but if you bacl to the autoshop service, they could tell you this location.

The air filter housing is an black plastic box located on the driver side next to the engine close to the wind shield.

My 98 jetta dies after about 4 or 5 miles, but will restart after about 20 minutes

maybe battery is bad get it testedsee if its ok also check your alternator one last thing check the fuel filter i bet its never been changed and its clogged up. i will tell you were is located.

How does one change air filter in 2002 VW Passat 1.8T?

Its located on the drivers side just behind the battery and in front of the strut tower, a black square box with a black round plastic tube going to it, remove the top cover and you will see the square air filter inside.
