CAR STARTS BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN GEAR IT STOPS

The car can have fault codes in the ECU even if the check engine light is not on. Use a scanner to get the codes.

It's your exhaust mounts or broken exhaust bolts. It does it in drive st idle n under load because the motor is sitting in rubber mounts made to dampen vibration. Therefore the motor tilts to the left in reverse pulling the exhaust away from your under carraige, and to the right in drive causing the loose exhaust to vibrate against something. Check your heat shields also. They fall apart n do the same noise. Piece of cake.

sound like faulty idle air control valve, or faulty tcc transmission solenoid,could have intake vacuum leak caused by pcv stuck open or egr valve stick open should see check engine light if you have egr fault or idle air control valve fault.

I would begin by looking to see what ODB codes the engine has currently. With the 4.0L engine there are several areas I would look. If the intake plenum has not been replaced, there is a good chance it is leaking - causing the engine to run lean and rough idle, etc. But the codes and then looking at runtime data will get you going in the right direction.

Could be the squeler on the brakes. Does that to let you know it's time for brake job. Have your brakes checked

To get the car out of park you have to put the shifter right in between neutral and drive and as soon as the car starts put it in drive. Keep your foot on the brake obviously. You can go to Reversve once you get the car started and in DRive.

Pour the fuel injection cleaner to it....sounds like the injectors are dirty.....
