On 94 Isuzu pickup 2.3 liters , I install new fuel pump and filters I have no gas at carb. It's has a mechanical pump. How do I catch prime? Starting fuel starts it then it dies.

I have a diesel van and what I do to prime fuel lines is to connect a fuel hose to the inlet of the filter. Using a fuel container. I know it is a rough rigging but it has kept me from towing my van to the mechanic

How to change a fuel pump in 94 Isuzu pickup truck 2.3 liters 4cylinder

My friend, most fuel pumps are inside the tank, so there's no way around taking the tank down. You don't have to empty the tank but it would make things easier when putting it back.

Dont know how to put back fuel pipes from pump to injectors on a 2006 isuzu 2.5 fleetside please help

The injector pipes are pre-bent to the correct positions so offer the pipe up to the pump and injector and if it will not easily then put it on the next injector until it fits exactly.

Do you have to reprogram the computer when you replace a fuel pump on a 98 isuzu rodeo 3.2 liters?

It may need to be reflashed, they had problems with the fuel level sensors. If it works OK I dont think I would bother, unless you have trouble codes and the diagnosis leads to a reflash. They had problems with P1441

I need to replace the thermostat for my 2000 Isuzu Rodeo, V6 3.2 Liter LS model? I see that it is on top of the engine under the intake. What steps do I take to remove the intake. Will the top and bottom...

remove fuel pump fuse and start car when it dies try to start again, no more spluttering just cranking, the fuel system is now depressurised. you can now disconnect both of the quick disconnect fuel lines at rear lower section of inlet manifold this is hard to get to some access this by removing the EGR valve so you can get your arms down there watch out for sharp edges of manifold. you dont need to take the top section of the inlet manifold off but will need new lower inlet manifold gaskets to haed.once manifold is off block all intake ports with rag or put tape over ports to stop dirt and stuff falling into ports while continuing to work on the coolant pipes below to get to thermostat.undo only 4 long centre bolts and the 4 nuts, one in each corner(no.3 in picture).

stevenhurc_7.jpgyou dont need to remove throttle body but some people do.

Hi. We have an isuzu trooper diesel that seems to be in safe mode, wont rev above 1300. We have drained the tank and put in fresh diesel, tried to check on machine, visual check on fuel lines etc.

this vehicle has a rotary injection pump and if its a 95 vehicle then no fancy electronics involved either so its either a fuel filter partialy blocked or the gauze filter inside the fuel tank ,if both of these check out as ok then the only other thing that would cause this a blocked air filter and check the air pipes as it could have a birds nest or a lump of rag inside the air pipes ,dont laugh or dismiss this --- trust me ---.also rev engine and check the air pipes are not collapsing, again seen it got the teashirt .Now if all this appears ok then its a fuel pump recondition job as the transfer pressure inside the pump is low and this is not a home job but an expensive repair ,cost here in spain is about 600euros and thats without the labour charge to remove the pump

Fuel lines need connected and im having fuel pump relay problems

HI, Ive just put a 2.6 4ze1 injected motor in a 95 rodeo in oz, the supply fuel pipe connects to the one sticking out at the front of the efi manifold next to the battery & air con hose! Make sure you have fuel in the tank, also you might have to prime the air out of the line by putting a rag around the hose & turning it over with your finger over it. Lightly releasing each time to let air escape until fuel comes out & being extremely careful for fire hazzard & to yourself!!! Then fit to manifold, the other pipe heading down under the manifold must be a vacum or tank breather hose? I hope this helps you GARYB in australia!!!
