Lights go out on dash DIC

DIC Cutting Out

lose power to radio, power windows, door locks etc.,\
headlights will still work except for the high beams as soon as | turn them on it knocks out all of the lights, including break lights etc.

Make sure you clean your positive battery terminal. It can be quite corroded in there without any outside signs. Next check ground connections (main ground is under the underhood fuse box...is it rusted down there? If it's none of those, start looking at the ignition switch.

First of all are your headlights a double filament type headlight? If yes then I would suspect that a power wire to the high beams is broken or shorted. If your high beams are a separate set of lights from your regulars running lights then either the high beams headlights are missing. or has a broken power wire or shorted or...You could check the fuse box under your dash and under the hood of the car to see if you have a fuse for the high beam lights.
