Hi have a look at water in the radiator when the engines running see if you can see bubbles constant ly i think you will find there is this is because the headgaskets gone and the gases are escaping from the engine into your radiator pushing your water out there is a cheap fix for this they now do a soultion that you pour into the radiator and it chemically combines when it finds the problem due to the excess heat created it is a perminant fix and a lot cheaper than headgasket sets head machined etc yates210456

Turn on the heat in the car to full heat an full fan. Remove radiator cap start car and continue to fill overflow bottle/tank until heater starts to blow warm that's when the thermostat begins to open. Keep an eye on matter level -make sure it's full. Replace cap a wait 6/7minutes open cap slowly and with rag and gloves it will be hot. Slowly -continue to add more water. Until full. Replace cap. Shut off motor and wait until it cools about 45 minutes. Remove cap again and add water as needed. Then run
Motor making sure it is full. One more thing most important anytime filling radiator always turn heat on first. If not you will ruin your radiator as they don't swell open they swell closed as to not let water move thru it's internal passages.
I can feel your frustration. It sounds like you've done all the logical stuff already. The "donut hole" in your process would seem to be not changing the water pump. The water pump as you might imagine, is responsible for circulating (pumping) the relatively cool water in the radiator into the running engine that contains the hot water. Hoses connect the two together. A thermostat is between the radiator and the engine. Once the water in the running engine gets to a certain temperature, the thermostat opens allowing the water pump to send cool water into the engine and hot water out to the radiator to be cooled. The heater core is usually on the passenger side firewall area.
It sounds like the water pump is the only thing left to change - if it isn't working - it can't circulate the water - and will result in overheating. Lastly, a clogged heater core shouldn't cause the engine to overheat - in fact, if the engine begins to overheat, you should turn the heat to HIGH fan and HIGH temperature to help remove some of the heat in the coolant.
When the engine is cool, take off the radiator cap and add fluid till full. Also add coolant to the overflow tank if needed To check the thermostat, leave the radiator cap off, turn heater controls to high heat, and start the engine and run it till at operating temperature (this is to remove air from the system.) Coolant level should drop a bit when the thermostat opens, so you may need to add more. Replace rad. cap when engine is warmed up. The only way the thermostat would cause no heat is if it were stuck open. So feel the upper radiator hose as the engine warms up. It will be cold or cool till engine starts to warm up-should take about 10-15 minutes, and then the thermostat should start opening, and the upper hose will start getting hot. If the engine takes a long time to warm up, like 30 minutes, the thermostat may be stuck open, needing replacement. If all seems good, check the actuator doors (temperature blend door) on the heater case. The doors have to open properly to let air from the blower motor to pass across the heater core, and then out the vents. Good luck. If the coolant level was low, that was likely the problem.
replace thermostat.then bleed coolant system, this is how you do it.fill the cooling coolant system with 50 / 50 dexcool and water to raise boiling point,straight water will evaporate boil away cause engine to overheat catch fire thats why you need 50 / 50 mixture antifreeze and water.to bleed coolant system first fill coolant system until coolant stay at the full cold mark on the the coolant overflow jug,then you start engine allow it to idle,place the heater and ac control in any ac setting except max and the temperature control to the highest setting,run engine until lower hose to water pump is hot. with the engine hot run the engine speed up to 3000 rpm and allow it return to idle, repeat this 5 times. slowly open the bleed valve on the thermostat housing or look for bleed valve at the water pump heater hose.open bleed valve for 15 seconds to expel any trapped air.then top off the coolant as necessary,and when top radiator hose hot thermostat open up.keep adding cooling to overflow until coolant level stop at full cold mark dont over fill coolant.if engine seem like overheating while looking at cooling gauge turn off engine wait a while until cool off add more coolant until coolant level stay stable and dont drop any.when open radiator overflow cap use large rag over the radiator cap to keep from getting scald open radiator cap a little at a time but dont open radiator cap until engine cool down first.replace the radiator overflow cap, thermostat,and engine coolant temperature sensor and check the cooling fans fuses and relays see what happens.

PLACE A LARGE RAG OVER THE COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG OPEN CAP LITTLE AT A TIME UNTIL PRESSURE RELEASED, THEN REMOVE CAP ADD MORE COOLANT IN THE OVERFLOW JUG TO THE FULL COLD MARK.THEN REPEAT THE PROCESS SCREW BACK ON THE COOLANT OVERFLOW RADIATOR PRESSURE CAP.THEN START ENGINE WATCH TEMPERATURE GAUGE WATCH COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE WHEN COOLANT TEMPERATURE START RISING TURN OFF ENGINE AGAIN WAIT UNTIL ENGINE COOL DOWN ENOUGH TO KEEP FROM GETTING SCALDED TAKE PLACE LARGE RAG OVER RADIATOR CAP WHICH IS THE COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG CAP OPEN CAP LITTLE AT A TIME UNTIL PRESSURE RELEASED ADD COOLANT UNTIL AT FULL COLD MARK. WHEN YOUR COOLANT LEVEL STOP DROPPING.AND TOP RADIATOR HOSE VERY HOT THERMOSTAT OPEN AND AIR IS OUT THE COOLANT SYSTEM. MAKE SURE YOUR COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG HAS COOLANT IN IT,WHEN ENGINE COOL DOWN CHECK COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG KEEP COOLANT LEVEL AT FULL COLD MARK.BECAUSE IF OVERFLOW JUG IS EMPTY THATS A SIGN RADIATOR COOLANT LEVEL LOW.WHEN OVERFLOW JUG EMPTY IT WILL ALLOW AIR GET IN THE COOLANT SYSTEM AND CAUSE CAR TO OVERHEAT.WHEN REPLACING THERMOSTAT ALSO REPLACE THE RADIATOR CAP ON THE COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG.
if the fan electric fan is not comining on, you need to check the fan motor to see if your motor is bad on the fan. check it by running a hot wire directly from your car battery to the fan elecrtic plug.
