My 2002 GMC Sierra truck won't start? Cranks but won't start?

Hi Valeria , If it cranks over your missing spark at the spark plug or your not getting fuel in the engine or the engine has no compression . So you need to test to see what is missing. There are a lot of great videos on youtube. on how to test ! You could try spraying some carburetor cleaner in the engine an see if it try's to start . If it starts you probably have a bad fuel pump. If not check for spark ,an if you have no spark you could have a bad ignition module or bad crankshaft position sensor. What size engine does you vehicle have ? There are three or four different one for your vehicle ! No Start Diagnostic Basics EricTheCarGuy

Random missfire

I hope you used AC Delco plugs. Make sure the spark plug gaps are correct. Also, make sure you torque the spark plugs to manufacturer's specification. This would be a good start. Scott

Where do i find spark plugs and wires on chevolet trailblazer 2002

The spark plugs are located normally near the value cover where you put in the oil. The wires run from the spark plugs. If your vehicle is a 4 cylinder then there will be 4 spark plugs. If it's a 6 cylinder there will be 6 spark plugs.

I have a 2002 TrailBlazer with the straight 6,diognostic check said #3 cylinder was dead or misfiring, also map sensor showed up. #3 cylinder was misfiring, so to test the coil pack I swapped #3 coil pack...

did you replace only one spark plug? that can cause issues because of differences in resistances between cylinders. also, did the map code stay off after replacing
?

Need to locate the Spark plugs ?

look at the distributer and follow the spark plug wires from it out to each spark plug but each wire as u pull them. dont take all off at once . or u might not know how to hook them all back the right way.

I changed the battery in my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer last night. Car starts and runs fine, but the majority of the interior electric components are not working. I changed out the battery relay in the fuse...

Replaced the 125A Mega Fuse ($10 from dealer). The fuse is outside the fuse box under the hood, under the connectors from the battery to the fuse box.

My 2002 trailblazer was missing, so I took it to the shop. They put a tune-up on it, but it is still missing. They said I need a timing chain, truck has 110,000 miles.

Timing chain usually does not cause a miss. It may run sluggish or even backfire, but a miss is like a spark plug with the wire off. Like a dead cylinder. Chevy timing chains do stretch but those engines can handle quite abit of timing. I had one with 120K miles and it was only off 4 degrees. That's nothing for chevy to handle. A tune up is usually nothing but a set of plugs and a hook up to a diagnostic machine. I would look deeper. Go out at night, start the engine with the hood open. Make sure you are in a very dark place. Look for sparks jumping from plug wire. Another way to to use a spray bottle of water. Spray a very fine mist of water around the wires. If they are bad, a spark will jump. Check cap for deposits. You can only hope that the plugs were gapped right.
Good luck
