I think it's in the wire bundle on the left side of the colum. Dealer said "burn't wires and ingition switch and $285.00 please". I declined because I had been "shimming" the gap between the colum cover and the dash on the left and it seemed that it was a loose connection.?

Try the ignition switch, dodge has them on backorder so there is a problem that just has not got big enough to recall. The switch is only $14.30 unless you have a V10. Mine started off as the turnsignals quit working unless you moved the tilt steering and the the heater would only work in the tilt up position.

Actually under the steering column there is a wire harness,,, the big red wire and medium size wire are for the heater/ac motor...unplug the harness and give it a good blow to clean the **** out...to unplug, theres a white clip on top, lift it up and theres a little red slider on the bottom, slide it sideways, the harness should slide out of the clip to access the wiring

check for loose, cracked, or broken vacuum hose lines. If they are all good, it could the blower motor regulator, especially if it works only one setting.

2001 2500 dodge heater control

When you say everything is fine, did you check the blower motor for power and ground with a meter ? The blower motor gets power from the relay, and the resistor and control switch provides the ground circuit.

Sparks under steering wheel of dodge ram 1500 2003

My blower on my 04 would randomly cut off but if you tilted the steering it would sometimes work again. Pulled the cover off the steering column and found that one off the connections(plug ins) was arking. Squeased connection closed a bit more with a small screw driver and put some electrical dilithium grease in it and haven't had a problem since.

The blower motor is located under the dash on the passengers side. Remove any panel under the dash to access it.

Blower motor makes loud noise when on high

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 with the same problem, vibrating blow fan when on high, pulled the blower fan out and found a piece of the hinge from the recirculation door and felt the recirculation door sitting up on the vent of its hinge. Crappy engineering once again.
