Question about 1997 Nissan Pickup
I need to replace a pcv valve. The engine is ka24e.
1) I do not know where it is exactly.
2) How many parts must be removed before I can remove this pcv valve?
3) Do you have any detail picture of the engine with the location of pcv?
The pcv valve is behind the alternator between the alternator and oil filter. when you remove the oil filter you can see the pcv in the intake manifold. best way to get to it is through the pass side fender under the rubber mud flap thats between the wheel and engine.

The pcv valve is a one piece part(positive crankcase ventilation) its located on the valve covers and has a hose attached to it that goes to the air intake hose of the air breather. this is a simple installation. the pcv valve just slips into a grommet in the valve cover and can be pulled out and pushed back in with out any tools. please rate this... thanks
