97 Nissan Pathfinder starter coils what do they look like

Replace the starter. It's not a coil, it's the solenoid. You can't get it without the starter.

could be poor connection from battery to battery cable terminal. take off both pos. & neg. battery terminals, clean & reinstall, making sure there is a tight connection. if the cables are loose (even just one) or if the battery cable seems degraded with corrosion, they should be replaced. could also do a load-test on the battery... it should stay strong under load, and shouldn't drop to below 11 volts under load. if it does you have a bad battery, even though it may seem good otherwise.

Need to replace starter im not mechanical incline. i know basic

Get a chilton manual online if you a DIYer and it will save you time and money..Basic step by step-Remove postive batt cable. locate starter, obtain new starter to see location of mounting bolts, remove starter mounting bolts, remove wires firrst if accessable if not starter will lower when mount bolts out ,then remove wires noting where they go. hookup wires and replace in reverse. note:some can be hard to get to-always handy to refer to a manual Good luck..oh replace positive cable when aal is tight and right...
