The compressor will not come on every time the a/c is turned on. Sometimes will not work for two days then all of a sudden the system works great for one to two weeks.

Try replacing the AC magnet Clutch relay, Toyota part number 90987-02028. If the relay in your car is labeled 90987-02022, it is probably bad.

I have recently noticed that the control panel on the dash is not responding to other commands either, so I suspect the problem lies there. Removed it but did not see anything obvious. Also I have located the compressor relay,(It was labeled "Heater") replaced it but did not resolve my AC problem..

Engine suddenly quits with no warning

Without knowing where the sound is coming from, theres no way to know if it is important.
Is it possible the noise is the ac clutch, and the ac compressor is locking up and killing the engine ?

2003 Hyundai Sante fe A/C fan and rad fan not turning Fast enough while A/C is on but work OK when engine come to temp. ac starts off cold then gets warm after about 5 miles.

make sure radiator and or condensor fins are not restricted with dirt , bugs etc. poor airflow across the condensor. high side pressure could rise too high causing compressor to cycle off and on and not cool the freon properly.not sure what you mean when you say you play with the relay and it comes on. compressor or the fan? pull the relay and look at the female pins and make sure they are not spread open too wide. is the check engine lamp on? sometimes computers will disable ac for some other faults. im not sure if you mean the compressor is turning off and staying off, or just not cooling well due to fan problem. if its turning off it could be a control head problem or the pcm disabling it for another reason. or if you are manipulating the relay then compressor kicks on you may have a bad relay. hope this helps

Put new AC compressor on, ice cold air for 2 days then blowing cool to warm air. Compressor is working but air not cold. Sometimes will get a small burst of cooler air but doesn't last.

You did'nt mention if you got the system refilled with Refrigerant after the Compressor was replaced or not. If not, that could be the problem.

Flashes on and off, intermintent will turn on all

Hi,
This is most likely a connector fault to the radio. Particularly check any inline fuse that may be fitted.

Remove the radio from it's mountings and check all connectors. Check all wires into the connectors that they are not loose.
Keep connected while you turn the radio on with it out of its fixed position. You can sometimes find wiring faults by moving wires while connected.

This is most likely to be the fault.

My 99 taurus wipers start working while the switch is off

This is caused by a short in the multifunction switch. The arm that provides these features develops a short inside the steering column. The switch is the arm assembly and bolts inside the column. Medium level of difficulty to repair but you must buy entire switch.

Heat in my 94 Toyota Tercel has a problem and so does the ignition.

warm your car up to temperture. Grab the upper rediator hose. Is it warm or cool. If its cool your thermosat is stuck closed and thats why you have no heat. If that works fine I would look at your heater core next.
