Question about 2000 Chevrolet Venture
The problem started out that our power sliding door would blow a fuse every now and then, then while driving the doors started locking and unlocking on their own and now the radio doesnt work. i have tried replacing the radio fuse in the under the hood fuse box but it blows before i even get it pushed all the way in. so now my remote keyless entry doesn't work, my radio wont turn on and my sliding door is a pain to open. also i dont know if this is the same problem or a different one but but the heads up display that does the mpg, temp, direction, etc. is only working sometimes the compass part works all the time but everything else is only when it wants to.
I think the body control module is shorting out . The body control module can be over heating internally then shorted out. All the parts you mention have a circuit running to the body control module. I would have the vehicle checked for codes at a repair shop , then check the wiring to the body control module.
