On the armrest and door pull have screws that hold it tight

The passenger window in my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer came off its track. How do I place it back on the track?

This is most likely not the track, The window system uses pulleys and cables and the pulleys are plastic and the cable comes off. They are tough to work on. You have to remove the interior door panel. That means getting a door panel tool. Take the screws out that you can see on the arm rests and the trim. Use the door panel tool to locate the plastic panel retainers. They are spaced out on the edges of the door panel. Use the puller to remove them. When the interior panel if removed you can see a plastic sheet that covers the inside mechanics. Remove the sheet and you can see the window parts through the holes in the door. You can then remove the window cranking system. You probably are going to end up replacing the part.

How to remove interior door panel 2011 explorer

There is a particular tool for this you can get at any auto parts store. It's called a panel removal tool. There are special buttons that are set into the panel that pop into holes in the door skin and you find each one by sticking the flay tool between the door panel and skin of door and pry the button out of the hole in door skin. This tool also has one end that removes the door window crank and opening lever by placing it between the plastic and the handle and just push it and roll it around till the retainer clip comes off and remove the handles. Find any screws that may be also attaching the panel and remove them.

How to open the door frame of a 94 Saturn SL1, my window is off track and am trying to fix it but cant seem to get the door apart all the way

Start by removing the front door rear view mirror interior cosmetic piece.
Remove the 3 large nuts holding the mirror on and take it off the car.
Lift the door handle up and push the two small handle retaining pins out, take off the door handle. Unscrew all the bolts holding the door panel onto the frame, special driver needed. Lift the door panel up and away from the door. Reinstall in reverse order. If you are doing a back door, omit the mirror part.

How do i get door panel off of driver side door to fix window back on track

remove all screws(phillips) remove the power window/locks switches carefully, all along the door panel edges there are clips that hold the panel onto the inside door skin these must be carefully pried as to not break them, they are plastic... have a screw # 2 phillips driver, flat bladed also to pry panel etc. and a pair of needle nose pliers to remove any clips that stay stuck in the door skin once the panel is removed. Look over the panel carefully and be sure you remove anything that ressembles a plastic caq/cover to ensure safe removal. Go slow do it right the first time!!! Good luck. John

To replace the motor/regulator on 99 civic it says put the window down, if the motor is broken does anyone know how you get the window down so i can remove it?

You have to remove your interior door panel and then remove all of the little 10mm bolts that connect your regulator to your door skin. This will let the window collapse. Just move it around all over the place to gain access through any available holes in the door skin that let you in. There will be 2 bolts that you need to get to to remove the glass from the regulator, then you can wiggle that old regulator out.

I need to remove the rear door interior panel on my 2004 cts cadillac . the window has jumped off the track.

on the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge.pull back the weather seal and you'll be able to get to the track

My Left Rear Window is Off track on a 2002 C320. The window motor is working. How do I disemble the door interior to get to the problem? The car is equiped with Airbags. Please Help!

remove any handles and armrests, grab the bottom edge and pull sharply if will make a horrible noise and pop out,

to replace gather all plastic mushroom headed fastners and reclip them in place then simply smack the door panel with your hand and it'll pop right back in, put the handles/ armrests ETC back on and you're good to go

To put the window back on track is fairly easy once you can get to it.

Interior trim panel removal instruction

Normal 0 . Disconnect your negative battery cable. Locate and remove the screws that hold your interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on clips). Remove the interior door handles, then disconnect the wire clips to the switches. Your panel is held in place by snap in clips; use a small pry bar to pull them from the door (try to get as close to, or directly under the clips to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel). Once the clips are pulled, pull the panel upward to remove it from the door.
Install in reverse.

If you don't have power windows you will have to remove the manual window crank. It is held in place by a clip on the back side of the base. To remove the clip, you will need a small hook (kind of like a knitting needle). Put the hook in behind the base, and grab the clip and pull it off. To replace it, slide the clip back on the window crank, and snap it back on the door.
