Cigarette outlets dont work

It is probably a fuse. If the fuse is ok using a light look inside the of the female part of the lighter and see if it has become rusty or corroded which would keep it from making a connection. Also check the end of the lighter itself fo rthe same problem. If you don't know where the fuse box is located the following link should help.

Today as I was driving, I realized my radar detector was not on so I tried pushing the plug in a little more, and when I did the radio stopped working also. I tried testing the fuse for the radio/lighter,...

Open your hood, and see check the relay box. You may have shorted them out and may need to replace the relay. Look inside the cover to locate the correct relay.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Lighter does not work and it is not the fuse

Hi..my name is Keith...and for a lighter to not work..and you said the fuse was good..is 1). the power wire or ground wire came off the back...2). the coils(the part that glows red) inside of the lighter has burnt into or 3).the inside of the lighter socket is rusty and isnt making a good connection with the lighter when it is pushed in...i hope this helps

Fuse Keeps Blowing

First off the reason for instant fuse blow is because this is a positive wire grounding out or touching/crossing a grounded surface. I would first target the Cig lighter outlet connections also if the outlet is rusty inside looking, replace it.

Cigar lighter is not working ?

To remove fuse grasp with needle nose pliers or tweezers and pull out. Hold the fuse up and if there is a dark place inside or you can see that the wire inside is burnt in two the fuse needs replaced.

Radio dead (not a code issue), Fuse #9 (lighter) keeps blowing

Yes, replacing the #9 fuse in the fuse box under the glove box seemed to do the trick (Front Accessory Socket). Thank you!!

12 Volt Cigarette Lighter / Accessory dead

Most likely just replace it. You could pull the fuse and then use a small screwdriver to try and pull the tabs inside the receiver in toward the center a little. It could be that repeated insertion and extraction of the lighter or accessory plug has bent them outward enough that they're not making sufficient contact to power what you plug in. If that doesn't work, replace it and then put the fuse back in.

Cigaret lighter not working

I am not that familiar with peugeot's but. You can buy a test light for cheap or construct one if you have the parts. And most cars have a fuse box inside the car and another one outside under the hood.
At the least you can pull each fuse at a time and check if thier burnt out.
Also check to see if there's a foreign object (like a coin) in the cig lighter socket.
