Question about 1987 Honda Accord
1987 Honda Accord, 2 liter, port fuel injection. Engine will not idle unless throttled up a little. On acceleration, there is a lack of power, and the pgm/fi indicator light comes on. I have no owners manual, but do have a haynes manual in which I can't find what this indicator light means. Can you help?
Firstly throw the haynes manual out the window as they are not evan written by a motor engineer of city and guilds, but by a so called mechanical engineer ...big difference ,these **** went to uni and spent all there time on the ****,ever read a haynes manual ???its a copy of the manufacturers one ,these authors have never got their hands dirty,i went to uni so the world owes me a living type of snobs . try changing the air flow meter

This relay is located behind the dashboard's lower cover. It consists of two individual relays. One is energized whenever the ignition is ON , thus supplying battery voltage to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This relay also supplies voltage to the fuel injectors, and power to the second relay. The second relay is energized for two seconds, when the engine is turned ON , to power the fuel pump.
