Question about 2005 Honda Civic
I put key in and try to turn on car and I hear this rapid clicking and car won't start up. My cousin thought it could be the battery but had it tested and it was fine. We went to lock it up with remote entry and that wouldn't even work. My husband wiggles keys a bit and then he got the keyless entry to work. Does anyone have an idea at what this could be? Car only has 42,000 miles on it and has ran perfect up until now. Thanks~!
If the battery checked out ok, the next thing to check would be the starter. The battery cables have been removed and cleaned? Don't think an 05 would have a corrosion problem, but who knows, it's easy enough to check. I also am wondering about the battery. If it's original, it's about 4 years old, It's approaching the end of it's life, even w/ only 42k. good luck and let me know how u do. countrycurt0.
