Vt 3,8 transmision slips when warmed up ?after stoping at the T.L must turn off engine than back on in order to keep going

any commodore transmission man or auto
driven without fluid would have taken some internal damage

Im assuming you are asking about how to remove p/s pump on a v6 commodore.
1.place a drain try under vehicle to collect p/s fluid.
2.on the p/s pump pulley you will see 4*10mm bolts release them.
3.remove drive belt
4.now remove p/s pump pulley.
5.undo p/s return line
6.release and undo abt half way 2*13mm bolts that mount p/s pump to engine block.
7.on the rear of the pump you will see the metal feed pipe use a pipe spanner to undo it 16mm
8.finish undo the 13mm bolts hold pump on ,once these bolts are off the pump will come away..

The battery is charged by the alternator which has computer (PCM)controlled voltage regulation, this makes for a much more precise engine and stable voltage for the engine management system.

To replace the front parklight globe on a vt commodore can be a little tricky.

1.turn the lights on to see which 1 is inoperative once you know turn lights off.
2.open bonnet
3.go to side that is inoperative and on the back of the headlight you will see a round large plastic cover turn this to release it.
4.under the headlight globe there will be 2 wires flow these to the park globe socket gently twist and pull it out.
5.once the sockets out and you can see the globe ,pull the globe out of socket.
6.push new globe into socket
7.refit the socket in headlight
8.refit all trims
9.turn lights on make sure new globe is work..

our check engine light came on on our 2006stratus. the car ran bad real bad .we drove it to autozone car parts store.they read our codes for free. turn out our knocksensor was the problem.they had it in stock.we replaced it ...end of story.the good thing they showed us ecxatly where it was in the engine....

check your in-line fuses and the wires at your starter
