Check and clean the battery terminals, just went through this exact same problem myself this week! Google "clean battery terminals" if you have never done this before, pretty easy.

you gotta make sure you re-plugged it properly, when you unplugged it a small piece of debris, may have fallen in, gently blow on the connections and re-plug it

SOURCE: HI, my car for the

It could be the solenoid on the starter that is clicking and needs replacing.

My question is--- Why is this still an issue a few months later?
--- You need to start diagnosing these problems when they first happen,so you resolve them and have reliable transportation again.

Was the Battery Tested in any way or you just replaced it in a wish and hope type approach?

What could kill 40% of the battery and still don't start

New battery may or may not have been fully charged.

When you say, "still don't start", does the engine turn over, but not catch, or does it just click? Or what? "doesn't start" has many different causes and different symptoms.

I drive a 95 Lumina. I have brought a brand new battery, alternator and starter, but it doesn't turn over. It doesn't even start with a jump. When ever the anti-lock light comes on my car doesn't start....

According to your wiring diagram, the ABS is not related to the starting circuitry. The only switches involved are the ignition, safety interlock, and anti-theft (if equipped). Recommend you try starting in neutral or giggle the shifter in park. Also, it is possible you are mistaking the security light for the ABS light?
Do you have a resistor on your key (black thing on the blade with a wire going across)? If so, check fuse 11.

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 Battery died and Replaced also Starter still no start just loud click from new starter and does not turn over engine but can be push started by pop clutch and runs fine

Assuming you replaced the solenoid with the starter, it may be the relay. If the relay is not making a good connection, it might have trouble throwing the solenoid. The relay should be in the relay box under the hood. You can break the relay open and watch it work while someone turns the key to verify the problem.

My 95 honda civic coupe died on me then when i

put a nother battery in it. start the car. then be quick and while the car is running. remove the +(posotive) wire from the battery. if the car stays running you have a bad battery. if the car dies instantly, you need a new alternator.
