My windstar was horrid for relays that needed to be replaced.... locate the relay(s) that control the power doors and replace them.

2001 ford windstar sliding door wont shut

I have found that Windstar sliding doors are subject to amnesia. If they are not opened and closed regularly, they "forget" what they are supposed to do. I make it a point to use my fob regularly to open and close the door (one in my case) to keep it focused on the job at hand

My power sliding door will not open or close by thereself

is it both doors? if so check fuses, the doors open from three different electric switches;overhead drivers cabin, outside door handles and interior electric door release button.

I have a ford 99 windstar. The tires on it are p215/70r15. Can I replace them with p205/60r15. If so how much will this play with my speedometer

your actual speed will be less. odo will read more than actual distance. fuel econemy will decrease... generaly a bad idea :) i think the differrence is about 12km/h at 100km/ driving at what appears to be 100 will actually be 88 or at least close

Have 99 windstar and the door ajar sensor will not go off.

Take some wd-40 and spray into the latch area of all of the doors. Then open and close doors several times. See if the light goes out. If not you may be looking at replacing a door ajar switch.

1999 ford windstar

This is usually caused by the switches sticking in the door latches. Try spraying some WD40 in the latches and open and close the doors a bunch of times that should take care of it.
