Replace oil pan. Check oil pump for damage. Pan might contact pump and block flow leading to Oil light being on.

Check engine light cam on and transmission does not work after hitting a pothole

Hitting can damage many systems under the car. Check the following:
- One of the Constant Velocity (CV) Joints may have slipped out of the transmission due to which the car could not move even in any gear.
- Check the transmission for any leakage. If so, repair the leakage, top up the transmission oil to the specified level and check to see if it works.
- Check the transmission control cable.
- If the problem persists consult an authorized service personnel.

MAZDA MILLENIA 2002 S 2.5l....I hit a pothole and the car shut off....When I was pulling over to the side I see check engine light flashing.....I turn off the car and try to start again....it will cra

You need to get the codes that are stored before you narrow down the problem. Auto Zone parts store will get the codes out for free. I do not think there is any obligation to buy the parts from them. The part may not be defective. It just may have come loose from hitting the pot hole.

Hit a hard pothole with 2003 Jeep grand cherokee laredo. Immediately stopped. Fuel pump inertia switch?

Never heard of this switch in the fuelpump circuit. Remove the fuel cap and listen if you can hear the pump when you switch ignition on. The pump will run for 3 seconds when you don't start. Hitting the pothole can have dislodged many things, from relays and connectors to a line.

Could be oil dripping from the valve cover onto the exhaust pipe.
One drip can cause alot of smoke when it hits the pipe.
Could be power steering fluid too.

1999 Nissan Sentra GXE Limited Edition, over 134k miles on it. Was driving down the freeway and hit a pothole, the engine started making a loud clanking/popping sound. As we pulled over, i took a look to...

It could be a broken Oil Pump, Is there oil in the engine or when you hit the pothole you could have hit the Exhaust Pipe and broke the pipe causing a Exhaust Leak.

Tcs light comes on when i hit a pothole

TCS is short for Traction Control System. When you hit a pothole, one wheel (or more) may be off the ground (spinning at a different rate) for a short period of time. This is a normal course of action for the car's computer: Notify the driver that the TCS is operating and apply braking as needed to the faster wheel(s).
