Question about 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS
I purchased my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer LS used, and didn't realize that the passenger side window/lock, as well as the rear mirror on the passenger side were non-functional. The vehicle is still under warranty, however, the chevy dealership says that the part they need to replace is not a chevy part, so it is not under warranty. Is this one single part or is it multiple parts, and are they sold in the "after market" or do I have to purchase from a chevy dealer/service.
If it isn't a chevy part, then what kind of part is it?? I don't understand why they would say that. if it is in your truck then it should be a chevy part. If the vehicle was sold to you with these parts in and the whole truck was part of the warranty then it shouldn't matter. do you have aftermarket waranty or factory warranty. I think if the parts were in the truck when it was sold to you, and it had a warranty then all the parts listed in the warranty should be covered. (unless they are an add on piece) eg remote starter, stereo, speakers etc, things that would have been fitted after the purchase.
