Question about 1999 Hyundai Accent
I was shifting gears in my car a couple of days ago. There was a pop sound when I was putting it into reverse and from there I cannot get out of reverse from inside the car. When I pull on the linkage under the hood I can change the gears but I still cannot shift from inside the car. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi not 100% sure but sounds like your gear link selector has either worn or broken. it is probably best to see a mechanic to fix this problem as i had similar problem in a 98 accent saloon, and found this very difficult to do myself. hope this helps.
