You will need to remove the bolts that hold the window guides in place, and carefully lower the window assembly so you can get to the bolts that hold the regulator to the window. When reinstalling, be careful not to over tighten the bolts.

94 civic sedan rear passenger door wont open inside or outside

This is a common fail on Honda civics, as a small tab breaks off of the door handle assembly inside the door. The door handle assembly needs to be replaced, and the part is about $75 . Often you need to remove the rear lower seat cushion to get the door panel off.

The inside door handle of my 2002 honda crv is sticking out in the open position, and both the inside and outside door handle of the drivers side wont open the door kkk

Your wire is probably broke. You have a thin piece of metal that goes from the door handle to the key slot. When you open it, it releases. I would say that needs replaced. You will have to take off the inner panel to get to it. There is probable 4-5 screws you have to take out. After that, you might have to pull the plastic and some foam out in order to have access to your problem. Best of luck to you. Hope this helps.

I have a 1993 Ford Tempo and am having problems removing the motor from the door. I already have the door panel removed and the power disconnected from the motor.

remove the door panel and check to make sure the linkage to the lock assembly is still attached. I can't give an estimate because I don't know what is wrong at this point

are the locks manual or electric?i have seen most electric locks freeze up because of rust/.corrosion.the rubber accordian seal fails and moisture does it's job.there is no lubrication on the mechanism.it's basically a push pull magnet tube with a spiral grooved actuator rod.this is to assure no accidental vibration/jar induced movement.also means very difficult to budge when corroded.i have gotten a few to move by grabbing lock post with pliers and pulling hard.good luck!

Inside door handle 2004 sebring won't work

First off, you'll need to be able to remove the door panel. there are plastic clips (Push in body clips) as well as a couple of screws that hold the panel on. If you do not have power windows, you'll need a tool available from most any parts store to remove the window crank handle. You can get a window crank handle off with a couple of standard screwdrivers (There is a small metal clip that locks the handle on) but this normally results in damage to the panel. When the panel swings freely away from the bottom of the door, gently slide it directly up to remove it.

Once there, you should be able to clearly see the handle assembly, look for a metal rod about 1/4 inch in diameter that is supposed to be attached to the handle assembly via a little plastic clip. if either the clip or the handle assembly is broken, the rod will disconnect and you will be yanking on a handle attached to essentially nothing.

Door rod clips are available through most auto parts stores for $4-5, handle assembly's you can sometimes get through a wrecking yard, or order from the parts store.

Once you have the panel removed
