Audi Quattro A4 2002 "Check engine oil warning lamp"
My battery went flat last week. I jumped it with a starter pack and now there is a warning to çheck engine oil'. Also some of the dash lights have gone. High/low beam, gear select, indicators and rev counter. Have taken it to a couple of auto electricians who have run scanners over it, but they are now wanting to pull the whole thing appart. Any ideas???

don't think fuse diagram will help , is the battery in good condition , may not hold enough charge to turn over engine , try jump start if engine starts then get a new battery then check alternator charge rate as may be reason battery went
Starter, removing and installing Disconnect battery NEGATIVE cable Disconnect wiring from battery to starter and starter to alternator (large terminal) Disconnect terminal 50 (small wire to ignition/starter switch) Remove starter mounting screws on engine/transmission NOTE: Remove upper bolt on starter by guiding 10 mm Allen socket with extension and flex fitting through opening on transmission housing over final drive Remove starter motor assembly Reverse procedure to install
either a dead battery or bad wire connections from battery to starter first check and clean battery connections if still not starting try jumping battery if it still click than you have bad connection at starter
I hope that you had the proper weight oil installed, at your oil change. If your oil is up to the proper level, and it's rattling ,this is VERY bad. White smoke usually means steam in the exhaust, and that means a blown head gasket. Check your coolant level. I wouldn't drive it anymore......until someone knowledgeable can diagnose it!!!!!
