The motor of my 1987 Ford Crown Victoria LTD will not turn over. I was wondering if anyone know where the fuel cut off switch would be for me to check or if there even is one.
Did this engine run recently? Is the battery OK? Does the starter click but not move the crank shaft? Is the fuel leaking? Why do you think fuel prevent the motor from turning over?
If it was an old police vehicle it has probably got an ignition kill switch located somewhere. This will have to be removed. And the wiring put back to factory standards. If not an old police car you are not getting voltage to the starter which is a bad relay. Do you get a clicking sound when you try to start? If yes, have someone keep hitting the start and listen and look for a relay under the hood.
