I've just tried this job and found the Haynes Manual absolutely hopeless. Felt | was working on a different car! Amazingly it was the same with a Volvo 940 manual for the same job. Haynes say manufacturers won't give them diagrams and that photos aren't easy to take in this area! But I think the authors haven't actuully done this job. If they had, they would make a better job of explaining! Sorry! If anyone can help I'd like to know.

As a rule of thumb, I would put in a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze to water. It will largely depend on the climate conditions of where you are.

you want to look for the original airbox (where the air filter is) first and find the clamp that connects the pipe to the box, loosen the clamp and remove the box and then see if the air filter fits, if not then take the pipe off so you can see the intake or carb entrance put the air filter on there and that should do it
