2008 Pathfinder Drivers Door Lock

Sounds like a simple, lack of lubrication. Because we use the fob most of the time the mechanical key part of the lock partially seizes up and sticks, Try spraying oil (WD40) into the lock and work it with the key, keep spraying and working it, excess oil will go through the lock into the mechanism. Worth a try before stripping the whole lot out.

Door ajar light is on and doors keep locking

You need to have the Body Control Module scanned to determine the cause here, guess work won't solve the probem.

I changed the key batteries for my 1999 BMW 323i after they died. Afterwards the remote unlock and lock won't work, the car also won't start but it can turn over/on and the radio and the lights...

stick the key in the ignition, turn it to the on position, remove it within 5 seconds, then hold the unlock button down and press the lock button 3 times within 10 seconds and release both buttons. The doors should lock/unlock to give you confirmation and your key should work.

Dome light dosn't always shut off, locks pop up and down on their own while driving.

sounds like you have a sticking door switch, the switch is loacated on the door latch itself, the hardest thing is to figer out which one it is , next time it sticks start out buy opening the rt rear pass door ,than the left rear, and than the right front, most of the time there is only one switch that sticks, the good thing is that the car has a GEM module that will turn off inside lights after about 10 mins to keep bat from running down ,you just have to narrow down which switch is sticking, when you find what door seams to be causing the problem, than you will need to remove the door panel to acceses the door switch, the door latch will need to be removed ,if you are not Mechancley gifted than i would sujest taking the car to a shop Note spell check not working ..

When I lock the doors on my 2002 Saturn SL1 the power door locks do not engage all they do is click but eventually stops but the doors will not lock or unlock using the power lock switch, How do I fix this...

Use WD-40 or similar penetrating spray & use the little red nozzle & get in behind & down sides as much as you can at door latch assy on doors. You may even find a slot right by the latch that you can stick nozzle in to spray all over. On front doors with key slots, push nozzle into key slot as far as you can & spray good while pulling nozzle out slow. Keep working them by hand at afirt until you feel them get a little easier, then start hitting power button up/down a few times & keep working it until they free up. If/when you've got them working again, spray same way, only with some "white lithium spray grease" to keep them lubricated after. I've had to resort to removing door panels to get at seized linkages in there before, but quite often, this will work. Keep me posted on results.

My doors won't lock using the key at times

Have you tried penetrating spray at latch assy & try to get as much in behind as possible, as well as sticking nozzle right in key hole & spray quick , let sit, and do it a few times? Keep working the key after, and keep applying spray until working freely as it should. Remember, not only does drivers door usually get most use, but it also gets most road spray from passing vehicles. I've has some where I have to remove inside door panel, just to get all the linkages in there. After moving freely, i usually apply some spray grease, such as White Lithium, same way, just to prevent future problems.
