Its not any thing to do with your air filter its either your thermostat or your radiator check the radiator and see if the over flow reservoir is full, if not then its your thermostat.

Lose oil pressure after motor warmsup 1992 ford probe

How low does the pressure get? It only takes 4 psi to keep an engine lubricated. The pressure will drop off as the engine get to operating temperature. This is normal. As long as the pressure climbs instantly when you accelerate you're ok.

1990 Ford Probe 2.2 automatic stalls in forward, reverse OK

Sounds like a bad IAC (idle air control valve/sensor) that controls your idle when going from throttle to idle. If bad your idle will act crazy and can cause stalls easily. Pretty sure that's it.

Looking for location of oil pump on 1998 ford probe 2.2 liter engine

well there is a couple of issues with your question, 1. 97 was the last year for a probe, and 2. the second generation did not have the 2.2, it had the 2.0, so your asking about a '88? either way you can find out by browsing probetalk.com
