Similar Problem with 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. Speedo not working, ABS and Brake lights on, A/C and Defrost buttons not working, All heater controls except blower useless, and cruise not working. Started after I left the driver's window down in a rainstorm (accidentally). At first glance, no apparently wet/corroded wires. Where to start?

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector first and let it sit for at least 10mins. before reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get the electrical function back to it's normal operation.
If the problem still persists, I suggest that you have the PCM (powetrain control module) checked for it can be damaged due to the rain.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Gauge lights

ABS and Brake warning lights intermittent may be caused by a failing wheel speed sensor(ABS Sensor) and /or its connector. You may have one on each wheel hub(4WD) or if 2WD, a sensor may be on the rear axle differential center.

2003 dodge ram 1500 abs & brake light came on. also cruise does not work. any suggestions

Problem: I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 L HEMI. My ABS and Parking Brake lights were illuminated, and my speedometer needle would "bounce". Also when sitting at a stop sign or just sitting idle, the engine would stall, and often times stop running.

Solution: After long research on this problem, I decided to dig in and try to find the problem myself. I replaced the Rear ABS Sensor
($35) that's located on top of the rear differential. Still no fix. I then unplugged the ABS Controller (or Module) that's located directly behind the battery (You should see the metal brake lines running into the top of it.) When I unplugged it, I noticed LOTS of moisture in the plug. Using an air hose, I blew out the water and let it dry good. When I plugged it back in, and hooked the negative battery terminal back up THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED!! Simple fix. Hope this helps.

Speedometer stoped working ,at first sometimes it worked sometimes did not now wont work at all, allso abs and brake and motor light on when speedo wont work,2001 dodge ram 4x4 with 360 engine

Probably either your PCM or Vechile Speed Sensor. The VSS sends an AC (alternating current or sine) wave to the PCM and according to the frequency of the wave, tells the PCM the speed with which the vehicle is moving. It will be mounted to your transaxle, and I would look into this before the PCM.

2002 dodge 1500 sport speedometer or cruise control

The brake and ABS light both come on when you are receiving no speed signal. Most likely the speed sensor in the top of the rearend is bad.

I have 1998 dodge ram my abs and brake light came on

IIRC, the speedo reads off of the sensor in the center section of the rearend. Also controls ABS. Hope this helps!
