SOURCE: 2002 GMC ENVOY GARAGE DOOR OPENER

You have a quick fix item. There is a send code button on your garage door opener. You simply have to press that button, and within 5 secs, press and hold the button on the garage door opener (your car or other) until the opener rapidly blinks. The garage door and the opener will share info,,, and presto,, you can open by the remote opener. Take a peek at your garage door opener instructions. You can have up to three settings at one time... one for each button. I was asked if the buttons ever got the openers mixed up,, and the answer is absolutely not.

one, five, three, six, two, four

The plastic intake should have this sequence molded into it somewhere, and even the corresponding cylinder numbers in front of their respective holes. Have fun, and thanks for posting on Fixya.com

SOURCE: need fuse box diagram 2002 gmc envoy

If I remember correctly if you look at the back side of the fuse cover, it should tell you what the fuses are. Also in the owners manual in the index, under fuses, it should give you a diagram of the fuse location for the acc. outlets. Good luck. The fuse should be a 20 or 25A fuse.

SOURCE: 2002 gmc envoy shuts off when i turn on the ac whil ideling

If it does it when idling I would suspect an IAC motor (Idle Air Control). If it is opening too slowly the added air the motor needs will not be supplied fast enough and the engine will kill.

It could be other things also but this is where I would start.

What you mine p1481

The engine cooling fan is electronically controlled as far as the speed goes, the sensor that reads the speed is defective, replace the fan clutch.

There a lot of aftermarket fan clutches out there that just don't hold up. Purchase either a GM part or a Dorman replacement.

1 have 03 envoy,6cyl,have replaced viscouis fan,fan still runs a lot, dealer has checked twice all ok

Do you have the check engine light on? If a fault code of P1481 or P1484 is coming up with a scanner, the fan clutch is bad.

Code P1481 - Cooling Fan Speed Sensor Circuit

2003 Trailblazer L6 running very sluggish. The only code the ECU is throwing is a P1481 code which upon some quick searches is the fan clutch. That shouldnt have anything to do with the poor performance...

I have a service engine soon light and the code that appeared when check is 1481, do you know what this means?

Service Engine Soon (SES) or Check Engine Light On, DTC P0480, P0526/P1481/P1484 Set (Replace Engine Cooling Fan Wiring Harness) #05-06-02-012B - (10/19/2006)

Models:2004-2006 Buick Rainier
2002-2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer EXT
2002-2006 GMC Envoy, Envoy XL,

Some customers may comment that the Service Engine Soon (SES) or Check Engine light is illuminated. This condition may be intermittent and upon investigation, the technician may find either DTC P0480, P0526, P1481 or P1484 set.

This condition may be caused by the cooling fan harness chaffing against the plastic guide it routes through. This contact may damage the insulation of the wires enclosed in that harness.

Replace the wire harness:
Part Number 89024920 Description Harness Assembly, Engine Cooling Fan Wiring

Good luck and keep me posed.

Just replaced thermostat and now my fan clutch runs continuously

Kirkasmann, P1481 is most definitely your fan clutch, it's very common on our platform. Only wires to check is the connection on the drivers side shroud. You said replaced "again"?. I've had bad ones out of the box, or it would tick tick tick. Buy a lifetime warrantly fan clutch for this reason, plus it's easy to do (as long as you cut a notch in the top of the shroud where the upper radiator hose is).
