Question about 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser
I am experiencing the overheating only when i run my ac. The fan is not spinning. I have tried replacing the relay. But I noticed there are two relays. Should I replace the secondary relay too?
Hi mate i am in Australia and i am a truck mechanic and own a 2003 pt cruiser and have been experiencing the same over heating problems , the problems is that the low or high speed fan s ar not coming on when they are supposed to i asked all of the chrysler dealerships in my state if they have ever experienced the problem and the answer was no and were no'e intereted in helping unless i took it to them and they would experiment with it till they found the fault haha, well my wallet is still full and i have found the fault and this could be the fault of many pt's that are over heating as the fan' s not working when they should. OK this is what i have found and have never looked back and had no more probelems , the fault i found is the three pin female plug on the harness the connects to the fan had a broken contact inthe sealed plug so i cut the plug off of the harness and fan and just used universal utilux bullet style connectors and that fix my overheating problem for ever, cheers Mark from downunder
