Harold, According to the 2002 Ford Focus Owner manual,
With engine oil filter change : 2.0 liter SPI engine takes ( 3.78 liters / 4.0 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 )
2.0 liter Zetec engine takes ( 4.25 liters / 4.5 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 )

the 1998 ford contour came with two engines the 2.0 engine which is a four cylinder or the 2.5 engine which is a v6 engine, if your not sure how to tell the diffrence then this will help you, take your insurance card for the car and look at the id or vin # some call it the id # and some the vin # look at the number and there are letters also in the id #, start at the left of the id# and count to the 8th digit and if its a G or an L then you have a v-6 engine which is a 2.5 liter, if the 8th digit is a 3 then you have a 4 cylinder engine which is a 2.0 liter, hope this is helpful, good luck.

All S70's have a 2.4 liter. There should be a numbers like 2.4 or 2400cc or something like that. The 7th and 8th vin digit is the engine. 55 is a B 2454 S engine. If unsure call the dealer parts dept and they can tell you, based on the VIN number.
There are 3 engine choices in the 98 volvo v70. All are 5 cylinders, 1. 2.3L turbo 2. 2.4L MFI DOC 3.2.4L Turbo #2 is the most common engine for that year and model. If your engine doesn't have a turbo, that's the one u have.
