Question about Toyota Yaris
Turn the key on.
Observe the odometer
Is it displaying ODO/total miles traveled? If not, depress the trip reset button until ODO is displayed
Press & hold the trip reset button, keep pressing it until advised to release it.
Observe the odometer display
you should see 5 dashes, then 4, then 3, then 2, then 1, and then 5 zeros, and then the mileage you started with.
Release the button.
You are done,
If you do NOT see 5 dashes, 4-3-2-1, set the trip meter to "trip 'A'"
and retry as instructed above. Some Toyotas use either method.

have someone pump the pedal and hold it, then you work from the right rear, left rear, right front, left front, while the person pumps and holds several times at each wheel.

Check your owner's manual. Then try the other button? This is a new car, though. Try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 15-minutes to reset 'all'.
