Hello: remove the cover, there is a black switch mounted to the pull down assembly held in place with one screw. if the fuse is good for the pull down then this switch may be bad. (it is a high failure rate component) Dealer item only.

Could you tell me where is the trunk relay is located on the relay panel that sits underneath the hood up against the firewall on a 1992 Buick LeSabre Limited?

Does not have a relay for the trunk. If trunk will not close you will need to get a pull down switch. It's just below what the trunk look grabs on to. aka. striker

Trunk will not close all the way down on my 1992 buick riveria

These units have a trunk actuator pull down motor that after you close the trunk the actuator pulls the trunk lid down to the closed position,These units failed quite often 90 % of the time the only problem was the $20.00 switch that's sits on to of the actuator, not the $300.00 actuator assembly. this part is easy to replace it has only one screw holding it, and the switch sits right on to of the actuator.

Hello. is there a way to disconnect the trunk pull down feature? if so then maybe mine is disconnected, before i assume the motor is bad

attach to the motor pulldown unit there is a electrical plug. check to see if this is plggged in and the the pull down motor assembly is making a good gound connection. also the problem could be the switch on the pull down unit which is a replacement item. if trunk was slam closed , it damages this switch.

Automatic pull down feature seems not 2 be working. Trunk will not close completely. What should I do to correct this problem?

I think the latch is adjustable. Look at the latch and see if you can tell if it has slipped. If there is a clean space and the rest of the latch is dirty or discolored, move the latch part back to cover up the clean part. This is probably the right location for the latch. You may have to loosen the bolts a little to move the latch but no need to take them out.

The the trunk on my 1992 Buicl Roadmaster will not

it prolly has an electroinic lowering device that lowers the trunk try pushing the pop the trunk button a few times and shutting it hard and if that dosent work try a fuse should say about it in the owners manual

Automatic trunk lid closing device stopped working.

Get a trunk pull down switch from a dealer. This will fix it.
