1990 tail lights

Which tail lights (top, middle, bottom) should come on when I turn the headlights on on my 1990 Chevy Silverado? What voltage should I get at the pins on the rear tail light wiring harness when the headlights are on?

1990 chevy silverado no running lights no dash lights

If the fuses are good, I would check for power in and out of the headlight switch. The parking lights and dash lights are on two different circuits but controlled by the headlight switch.

1993 chevy silverado parking lamps go of when i turn on headlights, signal lights flicker when i press on brake.

Yes I would look for a ground circuit problem. I would look at the ground wires for the headlights first. Even run a new ground wire for the tail lights to see if it helps.
Could be a ground connection for the body to frame or body to battery.

1999 chevy lumina headlight

There should be a fuse for the dash lights and one for the tail lights.
A mechanic would check for voltage for each circuit at the headlight switch and go from there.

How do you replace the head light in a '89, 2500 chevy silverado??? This one it's got the 4 head lights not just the 2. I thought that just by removing the ring around the light would do it, WRONG !!!!!! I...

1.Remove the Headlight Bezel. (Two screws go down on each side on the bottom, two screws go up in the top on each side)

2.Remove the Retaining Ring screws, and the Retaining Ring. DO NOT disturb the adjustment screws!
The Retaining Ring screws are the two screws at the top on each corner, and bottom on each corner.

The screw in the top Middle, bottom Middle, and on each side, in the Middle, are the Adjustment screws.

I advise using a pair of gloves if these bulbs are stuck, and 'stubborn'. May be going over the top with safety advice, but I would rather that you be safe, than worry about my seeming like a 'Worry-Wort'.

You may encounter, that the three prong plug on the back of the headlamp, is also hard to remove. Corrosion can develop in this area very easily.

I advise wiggling the plug back and forth a little, as you try to remove it.
