2004 Dodge Ram Srt 10 problem

Just rebuilt my Srt and it runs and idles very rough.
I had a Roe racing blower on a stock viper engine and damaged the pistons. I rebuilt the engine and replaced the pistons with forged pistons with a little lower compression piston stock 9.7 - 1 new 9.4 - 1.
Can't figure out why it runs so bad. Seems as though the timing is off. It runs but won't idle and is very rough running. Timing chain was checked twice and is correct according to the viper manual.
Any ideas on what to check. Compression is good, plugs are all firing and fuel is getting to all injectors. Plugs are black and full of carbon last time pulled.

i cant find any info on the parameters

you can usually run a jumper across wires and this will cause vehicle to think it is hot

it wont be voltage as the sensors are a variable resistor to ground

Any change in width will affect performance and handling. If this does not matter to you, why drive a Viper?

I need the cylinder layout for a 2004 dodge ram srt 10

Looking from the front of the engine everything on the right is odd number starting with 1-3-5-7-9. and everything to your left will be even starting with 2-4-6-8-10. The coil pack in front to the right will be 3-7-1. and to the left it is 2-4-6. On the rear coil pack to the right it is 9-5. And to the left on rear coil pack it will be 8-10. Hope this will help you.

I have been told that you can not put any engine in the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, expect the stock engine. Is this true? The cost I was quoted to replace the engine was $5000.00, for a rebuilt engine to be put...

You can replaced it with another enigne but stock. The 2005 Ram 1500 engine will fit right in. If you are trying to get a totally different manufacture engine then you will need to make sure that the mounting bolts, tranny and everything else lines up. Technically speaking, you can put any engine the is rear wheel drive in your vehicle. You might just have to move the munting brackets, replace the tranny, open up the fender wells things like that. But the 2005 1500 will fit directly into your vehicle
