Simple answer: no carburetor, you have a fuel injector for each cylinder. If car won't start, have your engine computer scanned for possible trouble codes. Autozone will do a scan for free. You need an OBD2 fault code scan.

On my 88 Lincon Mark 5 when it is cold it will start but it misses after it starts to warm up it shuts off and has difficulty starting back everytime we go to put it in gear it will die it wont even...

Sounds like you have a bad ign. module. When the engine is cold moisture causes the miss and when the engine warms the module shorts out all together.

What would be the problem if gas ain't going threw the fuel line?

'Sock', or fine mesh filter; in fuel tank is clogged. Attaches to the fuel pump. They have to be replaced, not cleanable. Fuel line filter is clogged. It's inline in the fuel line. Probably down on one of the frame rails. No fuel TO fuel line, bad fuel pump. (Or fuse is blown)

Does it misfire under load like when you press on the gas peddle after slowing down then accelerate or at idle. When you say spark plug did you mean all the spark plugs?

WHY DOES TRUCK HESITATE WHEN GIVING GAS AND STALLS

Is it carburator? I had the same problem with mine 85 ford ranger. I had the carburator rebuilt but it still took the shop 3 tries before they got the adjustment right. It's either your fuel pump (most likely). Inside the carburator, there's a float that adjust to much gas is needed and that could also be the problem. The float might be defective so it stalls when you step on the gas. I suggest replacing the fuel filter as well if you gonna work on it
Other unlikely culprit could be your ignition wires/coil/spark plugs. Check to see when they were last replaced.....
good luck

What is it when I am going up hill and step on the gas the truck starts cutting out?

Inside your carburator is a mini gas tank (float bowl) that keeps a specific amount of gas in reserve to accommodate changes. It isn't getting enough gas. The most likely culprit would be the fuel filter, so get it changed first. If that doesn't make the problem go away then the fuel pump is likely getting weak and not pushing enough gas into the carb. You can get it tested before you change it to make sure. If it tests good or you change it and still have the problem you will have to get the carburator taken off and rebuilt. Over time there will be a certain amount of crud acumulate in the float bowl that is interfering with gas delivery or it's also possible the float has become "waterlogged" and is not keeping gas at the proper level. Rebuilding carburators is not a job for rookies. It may cost more up front to have it done by a shop, but it will save you a lot of grief in the end.Hope this helps.

The Driver's side door of our 1996 Saturn Stationwagon won't catch when you close the door. In otherwords, if I drove the car, I can close the door but it doesn't catch and therefore the door...

first make sure the bolts which hold the latch mechanism to the door are firmly screwed in. if that ain't it, remove the post which it clamps onto from the door jamb and switch it with one from a back door. close the back door firmly, lock it and never use it again. if that ain't it go to www.getsaturnparts.com and buy yourself a new door latch mechanism and pay an auto glass shop to put it in for you.

MY 2003 Toyota Echo ran out of gas and I put one gallon in and it won't start.

If it has a carburator. Take the air cleaner off and pour a very small amount of gas into the top of the carburator. Like about a teaspoon's worth. If its fuel injected I have no answer for you.

Gas not getting to the carburator. Starter turns

Check all of the fuel lines very carefully for breaks or cracks in the fuel lines, especially between the fuel tank and the fuel pump.

If the fuel lines are all in good condition then you can safely assume that the problem is in the fuel pump and you will need to replace it. (If the fuel pump is in really bad shape the engine oil on the end of the engine oil dip-stick will smell like fuel)
