I have an 05 Sedona and my hubby replaced the middle and back heater lines over the summer. Parts could only be found at KIA but were only $70 something total. Now the front heater line is finally toast so his friend is fixing that this week for me. The front appears to be harder than the other 2 and needs to be put on a lift to fix. If I recall the front heater line was under $40. So much cheaper than what a dealer would charge. I read somewhere $500! Good lord no wonder my van new was only $22,000! Over all my KIA has been great. Just wanted to share about the heater lines! :-)

The easiest way to make a "temporary" fix is to remove the hose from one of the heater tubes, then cut the other hose so that it is long enough to reach the tube that has the hose removed. Attach the hose from one tube to the other to form a "loop" so the coolant will simply circulate from one tube to the other while bypassing the offending hose in the rear. I cannot tell you exactly WHERE to perform this operation without being able to SEE the vehicle, but it is usually easiest to do this in the engine compartment as close to the engine as possible.

If you are only going to go get it repaired, it may be worth the cost of towing. Cutting the hoses may cause you to have to replace more parts and will involve more labor for the final repair. Depending on your insurance coverage, you MIGHT be able to get reimbursed for the tow. However, you cannot get reimbused for a cut hose. I recommend that you weigh the options before doing anything.

My coolant is leaking and its a big possibility it might be the water pupm or radiator but i think its just a hole in the container that holds the coolant, is ok if i put water in there constant to keep...

Stop leak is a temporary solution and never a long term fix. You need to locate the source of the leak and replace the faulty part. I also doubt that the coolant overflow reservoir is leaking unless something has been done to the vehicle to damage it.

Using water rather than the correct spec coolant mix as a top up is NOT recommended (even for a short period) because, among other things, the coolant mix provides lubrication for the water pump. Constantly adding water rather than the correct coolant mix dilutes the coolant mix and it becomes ineffective.

Your engine needs an efficient cooling system to survive so have the leak investigated and fixed saspo.
If you allow the engine to overheat you will cause very expensive engine damage and end up with a car you will not be able to drive. It is always cheaper to fix the problem.

I have front and rear a/c. it has never blown heat in the back of my van and now i have smoking coming from under the hood and blowing out of the front vents. my front passanger floor board is soaked. what...

Your heater core is shot. Coolant leaking on the floor (wet) and driping onto exhaust (smoke).
Replacement of the heater core is the only proper fix. As a temporary measure , you could disconnect the hoses that run to it , and plug them (or join them together). Engine will run , but you will have NO heat in car. enough of your coolant has probably leaked out to cause engine problems. Make sure it is refilled and air removed from system before driving.

GM transmissions are sealed so there is no filler hole
take it to an auto transmission specialist and have them check the fluid level and pump in more oil if needed
while you are there have them fix the leak

Leaking coolant from rear heater core. is that a serious problem or can i simply replace the hear core?

It could be caused by the following :
Cracked core
Loose clamp.
Cracked hose
What could happen is that the crack opens and spills all your engine coolant inside the vehicle or lose it bit by bit causing a low coolant level with subsequent possible overheating. A crack on the core could rupture under pressure as could a hose.
A quick and cheap fix is to get a bottle of Stop-leak into the cooling system and drive it around for about 15 minutes. If the crack is small enough it will seal up especially if it's on the core itself. This is a temporary fix. That said, I have a 1968 Renault that's been driving like that for the past 2 years because I cannot find a replacement core and I'm not about to spend silly money on getting one custom built. However, considering the age and value of your vehicle I'd recommend replacing the faulty core/hose. It's up to your budget (and availability of spares)

Air condition water leakage under dashboard

Most likely the heater core is leaking and requires replacement.
As a temporary measure you may block off the coolant supply to the heater core - note you will also need to block off the coolant return line.

Broke rear fuel line while replacing the in-tank fuel pump, any suggestions

If its the main feed line you will have to get a new unit that goes into tank, or if there is enought sticking out maybe a compression fitting to connect them together temporary, ( witch i do not recamend because of possible fuel leak) If its the small line thats just a return line and has little pressure and can be fixed with gas line hose and a couple of clamps, but thats a temporary fix also.

2003 kia sedona over heating and no heat

Check your rear coolant lines, These lines always rust and start leaking coolant and thats why your engine over heats and you dont get any heat inside your car. This is a common problem with kia sedona that have rear A/C and Heater. There are two fixes to this problem. The first is to replace the rear heater coolant lines with the updated lines from kia. The second will be bypassing the rear coolant lines with a hose, however the rear heater will not work with this method.

removing the rear coolant lines is not that easy. The lines near the fire wall are really hard to remove. Its also much easier to replace the lines with the car on a hoist.
hope that helpfull
