This is a common issue, the issue that I had with mine 3 times was that the vent door would not stay open which tells that fan clutch to turn on or off. I had to replace it 3 times, and the previous owner replaced it twice and the dealership once. The 2002 through 05 Trailblazers have this issue
Possible IAC valve or crank sensor. have your vehicle's computer scanned at autozone, its free!! Then post the code on fixya.com, this is the only way we can find the problem. Hopefully this helps
You have to remove the holder clip for the grill, plus remove a few bolts holding the headlight assembly to pull the headlight away far enough to remove the bulb holder. You can try to squeeze your hand in there to get to it, but you'd have to have small small hands.

Check gauge light can come on for a number of different things, from Low fuel to low oil pressure to high engine temperatures. When the light comes on check all the gauge's and see whats causing it, one or more of the gauge's will be showing an issue, Low fuel or low oil pressure, Low battery power. Any of the mentioned things can cause it... Figure out whats causing it then you can remedy the situation...
on the passanger side right above the exhaust manifold. bolted directly to the head with two 13mm bolts, the trans dipstick also bolts to the rear shutoff valve bolt.
It all depends. You need to trace it back to the fuse and switch. A switch is cheap, the harness that the switch plugs into is cheap but you have to pull one wire out at a time and replace them in the exact same slots. The fuses are cheap and wire is cheap. Whats not cheap is paying someone to track it down. So if you feal confident witn multimeter. Then its some what easy and very cheap to fix.
