The sensor for the truck sends it signal to the BCM, this is a module that controls most everything in the car except the engine and trans, you can't disable it or nothing will work, windows, wipers etc.

I have a 04 dodge stratus and the dome lite and radio and data link connector and power locks and trunk dont all work.the fuse is good i put new one in and still wont work.now what do i do?

I have the same problem with my 04 stratus cant get car inspected cause data link so the cant inspect emmisons, anyway i was told it may be the bcm (body control module) if it is buy a used one from junk yard they are a little expensive. or it could be relay since fuses usually dont do so many things (dome llight, power locks, radio, data link)

2004 Dodge Stratus gas guage starts to go empty

You likely need a new fuel sending unit (it's in the trunk, and is what drives the gauge).

The main fuse in my dodge stratus keeps blowing

Try unplugging the transmission range sensor. It is a common problem for them to short out and they are powered when the key is in the start position. Replace the fuse after unplugging the sensor and see if it blows the fuse when you turn it to start. If it does not you have found the problem.
