With the hood open, looking down at the light assembly, there are two screws (black) that go straight down.
They may look like adjustement screws. They are long and have a 5mm hex head. One is in the middle between the headlights and the other is at the end near the fender.
Remove those two screws and the headlight assembly pulls straight out.
They are not adjustment screws so if there is no need to adjust the lights after reinstalling (unless they were not adjusted properly from the begining)

Could be a fuse ...or it is possible the bulbs are gone.or the wiring loom has been damaged.first place to check is the fusebox.then swap the working bulb into non working side to rule out any wiring faults.if new bulbs keep blowing then it points to a short in wiring or faulty switch which can cause power surges.get back to me if you have a sunroof and water seepage around the courtesy light as clios get this known problem which could be related.

Need to change passenger side headlight

you might need to move the air filter box to do this.

The bulb and its wiring is on the back of the headlight. Twist the clip to remove it from the headlamp housing, pull the bulb out and replace it, then reinstall the bulb into the housing.

If you need to replace the whole headlight and not just bulb you'll need to remove the grille by unscrewing 4 screws on the top side of the grill Rotate the grill toward the front to release from the clips holding it in place. There are 2 screws on the inboard area of the headlamp. Remove these two screws and the lamp will come out. Now you can replace the lamps or the unit.

How do you remove the head lamp assembly on a 1993

1. Make sure headlamp is off and open hood.
2. Taurus model years 1990-1999: you must remove the whole headlamp to replace the bulb. Not a horrible task. Just annoying.
3. Facing the driver's side headlamp, and looking at the headlamp itself, at clock positions 8, 11 and 1 are the headlight housing screws. They all look the same. Using a 10mm socket wrench, remove these 3 screws and set them aside.
4. Just to the right of the "11 o'clock" housing screw is a bolt (same hexagonal 10mm sized top as the housing screws). This just needs a few turns to loosen it.
5. Gently pull the whole headlight forward. Now you can get at the bulb.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb. Now the headlamp is free to work with. Remove the bulb, replace with a new bulb, make sure the bulb housing cylinder is in place and reconnect the electical.
7. Place headlamp back into position. Line up screw holes. Tighten the bolt. Replace housing screws and tighten.
8. Passenger side headlamp is mirror image of driver's side. Screws at 11, 1 and 4 o'clock positions. Bolt should be to the left of the "1 o'clock" housing screw.

Removal of headlight assembly to change headlight bulb on 2007 gmc yukon xl. I see the two screws above but can't tell if there is more to removing assembly. seemed easy initialy, but can't figure it out....

I am not familiar with the model but the vehicle handbook usually contains instructions and diagrams on bulb replacement. If stuff has to be removed to change the bulb the book will usually tell you to take the car to your nearest dealer.

Many headlamp bulbs need a strong light, a mirror and a great deal of patience...

87 Lincoln headlight changing instructions

You must first remove the Headlamp bezel which is the chrome trim that surrounds the duel headlamp housing. The chrome trim surround is mounted to the Headlamp mount panel with three nuts which you can only access on the inside. Pop open the hood and look on the inside near were the headlamp bulbs are. You will see the three mount nuts for the headlamp bezel. Might be rusty so first give it a shot of WD40 or similar. Remove the nuts and then you can lift the headlamp bezel from the outside away from the headlamp bulbs. The headlamp bezel only has tabs that slid into a slot on the bottom so you can lift out once the top three nuts are removed. Once the headlamp bezel has been removed you can then access the 4 screws that hold the headlamp trim ring2.gif in place which is what holds the headlamp bulb in place. There are several other screws that in the same area but they are only for adjustment of the headlamp bulbs within the housing. Leave them in place. Remove the stainless steel ring that is holding the lamp in place, and then unplug the headlamp from the back and replace the headlamp. Should take you less than 5 or 10 minutes. Dan
