Recently replaced coils, plugs, boots and ran fine for a month. Started 3 days ago engine ran for a couple seconds and died. Replaced the fuel pump and can't get it to start. I did the key thing (25-30 times) off and on to pump the gas back to the engine but can't tell if it's there yet and if you know this engine, there's not a good place to open the fuel line to check. i need some direction to go. Help

Hey there boatright33,
A few things things immediately come to mind.
There may be a problem with the engine controller. You could check the
ODBII onboard diagnostics. Auto part stores will usually do this for
you at no cost.
When you pulled the ones that were/went bad, how did the filters look? Could there be particulate matter still in the tank causing them to fail.
I always put this one off until last. Check the injectors. Are they gummed up?
Let me know what you find out
Mike

Remove the cover on top of the engine. It has fouth 10mm bolts that hold it on. This car has individual ignition coils for each cylinder. Remove the wiring harness connectors from each one, then remove the ignition coils. Check each coils resistance with an ohm meter, they should all have about the same resistance. If one is really low, high, or has no continuity, it will need to be replaced. You will notice that the coils have what is called a "plug boot" attached to each of them. First inspect them, and make sure there are no burnt places on them. If they have oil on the, you will need to replace the valve cover gasket. Next remove the plugs, and inspect/replace them. Assembly is reverse of removal. This should take care of it.
