I am having the same issue with my 2003 Grand Prix, you can see where the collant is leaking out of the L tube that goes into the block. Anyone have an idea of what this would cost to get it fixed at a mechanic?

You have what is called a 3800 series II engine the l-shaped tube is for your by-pass in the intake manifold and the by-pass for the heater core. you have to remove the serpentine belt first. then remove the altenator. this will leave the idler pully bracket. remove the 3 bolts they are 15mm heads. now gently pull the bracket away from engine. the L-shaped tubes come in a pack of 2 they are 2 different sizes and can only fit one way. you can buy them for under 5 bucks at Oreilly's. when you install them make sure you use a small amount of white lithium grease on the O-Rings before you attach them to the engine. Install the bolts and tighten to 22 ft lbs. of torque. installl the altenator and the serpentine belt and reconnect the battery. this should solve your problem... please rate this thanks.

You should look under the car after it sits a while and see if there is antifreeze on the ground. If so try to see where it could be leaking under the hood directly over the puddle. You could have a leaking water pump. If so there would be dampness under the right side of engine compartment. Also check the radiator hoses at front of car.

Water on floor passenger side after it rains and after air has been running 2000 grand prix

Ac hose leak?
leaking heater core?

Hint: it leaks when it RAINS

If it were related to the heater core or the AC drain, it would be leaking when it is not raining also, so those diagnoses are not logical.

The grand prix has a long history of floor leaks from seal failures around the air intake under the windshield cowling, where RAIN water runs in.

Cant find were power steering fluid goes

It's under the alternator, which if i recall correctly, is around the top left of the engine bay. You'll need a flashlight, small arms\hands to access it. Getting a long neck funnel helps if you need to add fluid.
