Driver side, under the dashboard left hand side you will find a box. To the right hand side of the box, there will be a bkack color knob. pull/turn the knob. The box will open downwards. Fuse # 23 is for te Backup light.

I cant tell from looking at the owners manual, which fuse is linked to the drivers side window. Mine is not going up or down.

All the windows are fused by just one fuse, if it goes all the windows stop working. You either have a defective driver door control switch or the window regulator motor is defective. I would think the motor inside the door that lifts the window is the issue here. You can verify it (window motor defective) by doing this simple test, at night open the door and leave it open, operate the driver door window switch and watch the interior lights (dome light in particular), they will dim just very slightly if the motor is defective, if they do not dim then the switch is likely the cause.

Hello, I left my drivers side window open in the rain for a night and the drivers side window no longer works, though all the others do from the drivers side door control unit. Any suggestions greatly...

The switch has been saturated with water. Remove the switch, use compressed air if available, or put it close to a heater or hair dryer till the water evaporates. If u have experience with these switches i would say open it up, if not dont because often there are full of little pieces. after all this I would add a little WD40 ( or any other Water Displacement product). If after all that it still doesnt work, check ur fuses/cicuit breakers and/or relay

Ok be4 i bought the car the scion tc i have window has been smashed in on the driver side but has been replaced the window doesnt roll up or down though. i have replaced the relay fuse and window switch...

window is different switch, it may have not been put back together so switch will not work, very gently pry up switch to see if the switch has a connector on it, if not look inside of hole and find it, snap it on, then replace the switch back in its place, then run the window down, then up and hold 5 seconds, this will activate the auto window system

Mr cars brake lights have stopped working

I take it the bulbs are good.
Look under the drivers side dash at the brake pedal. You will need a torch. There is a brake switch there and it may need readjusting or replacing.
